Mr George Ye is Managing Director of UbiPOS UK LTD, a leading and award-winning geospatial science and civil engineering company that has track record in delivering innovative sensors, systems and solutions in the UK, EU and China. George participated in the establishment of UbiPOS as Co-Founder of UbiPOS and has been promoted to Managing Director since 2017. He has in-depth experiences in key roles such as domestic and international business development, project management, government relations and sales. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Political Science/International Relations, both from The University of Nottingham in the UK. George is also passionate in supporting start-ups and other young talents in entrepreneurship and technology innovation.

Qusen Chen BSc MSc PhD
Chief Technology Officer
Dr Qusen Chen is the Chief Technology Officer of UbiPOS UK LTD. He is a field specialist in GNSS precise data processing and its applications in deformation monitoring of geo-hazards and large infrastructures over the past 10 years. Qusen is conducting his postdoctoral research in the GNSS Research Center within Wuhan University in China, and also leading a technical team at the UbiPOS to address the burning issues in large asset management and safety. Qusen holds a Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Geodesy and Surveying Engineering, specialising in the data processing of Multi-GNSS, both from Wuhan University. He is also awarded a PhD degree as a joint PhD candidate of Wuhan University and the University of Nottingham in the UK.

Dr Ronghua Yang is an Associate Professor of Geodesy and Survey Engineering at Chongqing University, Director of Geomatics Engineering Institute, and Executive Director of Chongqing Society for Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography in China. His research focuses on error theory, advanced data processing algorithms and geomatics engineering solutions for intelligent monitoring of structural deformation, three-dimensional (3D) models creation, and mobile mapping.
He holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree of Surveying and Mapping Engineering and is also awarded a PhD degree of Geodesy and Survey Engineering, all from Wuhan University in China. He has led three major academic projects that are developing the latest point-cloud registration algorithms for tunnel deformation monitoring and oblique photogrammetry data processing.

Lianbi Yao BSc MSc PhD

Prof Lianbi Yao is a Professor of Surveying and Geoinformation at Tongji University. his research focuses primarily on multi-sensor integration for IM, ITS and CAVs. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree of Surveying and is also awarded a PhD degree of Roads, Urban Road Network and Airport Engineering. Apart from working at Tongji University, he also has in-depth collaboration with various leading German universities such as Technical University Berlin, University of Stuttgart and Technical University of Munich. He has led and participated in over 30 major research and development projects and has been awarded Shanghai Municipal Science and Innovation Prize 1st Class (once), 2nd Class (twice) and 3rd Class (twice).
